As part of our Christian Outreach Program this year, we will be conducting monthly food drives to assist the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society works in conjunction with Our Lady of Hope Parish in distributing food to families in need in our community.
The following is a breakdown of the grades that will be participating in these collections each month during the school year.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society will give us a list of items that they are in need of each month. Please check the website for this list and the date the collection will be held.
Thank you in advance for your support of this program.
The collection will take place the week of February 21st through February 24th.
The following is a list of the items that are being requested for the February collection:Thank you for your continued support of this monthly Christian Outreach Program.
Our Lady of Hope Regional School will once again be participating in “Pennies for Patients,” a program sponsored by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to raise money to help fund lifesaving research and services for patients with Leukemia.
Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers while improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
During the weeks of February 13th through February 24th we will be collecting pennies and other loose change to benefit this very important cause. Pennies add up and every penny counts!!
We would like to thank our wonderful families for their overwhelming support of our Christmas collections of clothing and toiletry items for the homeless.
Thanks to the generous clothing donations, we have sufficient clothing to distribute throughout the winter months. We will continue to collect blankets and socks, and your continued donation of these items will be greatly appreciated.
The toiletry items that were donated were assembled into gift boxes by our Community Service classes and wrapped by our 8th grade students. Mrs. McNally distributed these boxes at Christmas.
